Founder, Karen Eskin, created the idea for My Perfect Party while studying for her
MBA. What started as an assignment to develop a business plan turned into a new
business venture. Through careful deliberation, she tapped into a void in the
marketplace for upscale, unique party decorations that could be ordered online
for stress free entertaining. "I want our customers to see us as a lower cost
alternative to a traditional party planner, offering virtually all of the same
services. Our products and innovative tablescapes fill a market niche not currently
being addressed," says Karen. "We're Martha Stewart meets Real Simple Magazine."
Partner, Anne Canale, has a knack for making things look picture perfect. An interior
designer with a sharp eye for style, color and pattern, she has used her visual
talents to transform parties into special occasions with results that are anything
but ordinary. "I love to be surrounded by beautiful objects and I am often
disappointed with the choices and quality available at traditional retailers when I
shop," says Anne, who not surprisingly had a clear picture of what she envisioned for
My Perfect Party. "I want to design tablescapes that coordinate, but also break the
rules."
